Come and join us on a night that suits your chilrens age, all welcome
Welcome to the Barwell Scout Group Website
Barwell is a thriving and expanding Scouting group. We have a Beaver colony for young people between the ages of 6 and 8 years, a Cub pack for those aged from 8 to 10½ years and a Scout troop for those aged 10½ to 14 years old. Also meeting at our headquarters is Unit Phoenix, a District Explorer Unit for those aged 13½ to 18 years old.
Development of Young People
The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. Activities we undertake are developed with this aim in mind and are appropriate for each age group and are aimed at the development of the young person, within the broader aims of Scouting.
Making New Friends
Scouting is all about meeting new people and making new friends. We welcome and encourage any parental involvement, whether it be something as small as making the juice on a meeting night up to assisting on camps and activities.

A superb attendance for the Remembrance Sunday parade, and we have been asked by the Royal British Legion if our group could participate in next years Poppy Appeal.
